MAGĀ /ma-geɪ/ is a social and political movement born out of the need and desire to recapture the narrative in the United States from opposing sides fueled by hate and fear.
Originally sparked as a playful jab at a worn-out slogan, MAGĀ has since evolved into a people-powered call to action—a reclamation project with purpose.
The word “gay” once simply meant happy, and that joy, pride, and self-expression is at the heart of our message. Yes, it’s a wink, but it’s also a wake-up call. Our goal is to reframe a phrase built on exclusion, and instead turning it into a banner for inclusion.
MAGĀ is for those who don’t see themselves in either of the two dominant political parties—for the disillusioned, the dispossessed, and the daring. It’s a movement for anyone who believes the U.S. can and must become a nation that truly lives up to its promise – gay or not – WE the People.
